It was a supportive day for the livestock industry as all three markets closed higher, thanks to strong demand. Hog prices closed higher on the Daily Direct Afternoon Hog Report, up $0.81 with a weighted average price of $47.34 on 3,895 head. March corn is up 3/4 cent per bushel and March soybean meal is up $5.30. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 96.36 points.
